Autism Spectrum Disorder is a developmental disorder that is characterized by challenges in social interaction, communication, and repetitive, restrictive interests. Individuals with ASD will often not learn independently without appropriate, effective treatment.

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), we utilize the evidence-based strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This includes treatment in all deficit areas as identified through assessment and observation. ABA is the standard treatment for ASD because of the ability to teach new skills and find appropriate alternatives for challenging behavior. For Children 3-15 years old, we provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder. The services include individualized programming for each child along with parent or caregiver training.

In October 2015, Easter Seals East Texas was awarded a DARS Autism Program Grant to expand the services at Temple Memorial  Rehabilitation Center. This grab provides up to 30 hours of ABA therapy per month for up to six months in a twelve month period.

We offer the following through one-on-one instruction
